On October 29, 2026, Yevhenii Brydun, Chairman of the Board of PrJSC "Company 'PRESTIGE'," delivered a guest lecture titled "How an Insurance Company Works from the Inside: Accounting, Reserves, Reporting, and Digital Technologies." The event was organized by the Department of Accounting, Audit, Analysis, and Taxation at the University of Customs and Finance. In his capacity as a guest lecturer, Yevhenii Brydun drew upon his extensive practical experience as the founder of an insurance company, integrating this with academic and teaching perspectives. The session aimed to familiarize students with the practical operations of insurers, demonstrate the application of theoretical knowledge in a real-world business context, and broaden the students' understanding of professional career opportunities within the financial sector.

During the lecture, participants explored the specifics of organizing accounting within insurance companies, the procedures for establishing insurance reserves, and the nuances of preparing an insurer’s financial statements. Particular attention was given to modern digital technologies used to automate business processes in the insurance sector. Practical examples demonstrated the application of information systems in the accounting and management of an insurance company—specifically the π-finance financial monitoring module, developed by the Institute of Financial Solutions LLC. Furthermore, participants discussed the development prospects of the innovative InsurTech sector in Ukraine and its impact on the transformation of the insurance market.
